While my mom has been telling me it is in the 70’s, 80’s, even 90’s in Oklahoma, here in New England, we haven’t quite reached those temperatures (except one out of place beach day, but that’s the northeast for you). However, the way I measure the start of spring season is seeing the buckets strapped to maple trees and watching for my snowdrops to break the ground.
I am not sure of travel plans this year. We have been struggling with unemployment for over a year, and with the out of control costs on *gestures wildly* we will definitely be staying closer to home. But, we’ve talked about having local adventures before. I plan to find some new beaches, some new walking areas, some new places to explore. It seems like now is a great time to talk to people in my community, make new friends, and help out while I have free time.
