Introducing the New England Itinerary: Military History Edition!
This six day itinerary features locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine that include battleships, tanks, armor, historical locations, monuments, and other places and items that tell the story of New England’s military past and present. Beginning in Boston, MA and ending in Lexington and Concord, MA, the route, itinerary, and pacing are provided. All you need to add is transportation, lodging and food!
This route will take you through three different states, so you will need a vehicle. The tour is appropriate for all ages, and accessibility varies by location. The itinerary includes ideas for longer or shorter visits, plus a list of resources complete with links. I created this itinerary without the use of AI, and all locations are verified by real humans.
Please note that during a US government shut down, some of these facilities may not be open or staffed.
