Our next video is out, and this one isn’t from Iceland. In September, we drove our daughter and her friend to Mount Pocono to attend and staff Collosolcon East. If you ever wanted to drive from NE Massachusetts to Mount Pocono, here is your chance to preview the route. We primarily made this video as a gift to our daughter who had the best time on the drive and at the convention itself.
If you can’t afford to attend a convention, consider staffing. It is a really great way to get some volunteer work experience, free entry, and for Collosolcon East, free hotel, waterpark, and food! Each convention offers their own options, so check out the possibilities the next time you are short on money but really want to attend the event.
I love the vibe at these conventions. The people are always so nice and fun. The inclusion. The whimsy. The friendships. The attendees always have a fun time. So enjoy the (sped up) drive as we listen to music, chat with kandicow and Akira the Red, see a streetsweeper, a tire blow out, and plenty of trucks from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania!
