Our latest video is published, and you can watch it here. This is the last of the video from Day 3, as we finished up the Golden Circle and Selfoss areas. Some people have said they are surprised by how “ugly” this part of Iceland is. It is very flat, open farmland, but it didn’t feel ugly when we were there. If you’ve spent any time in New England, you know there are lots of hills and visibility isn’t always very far. Being able to see out into forever really reminded me of how the skies and land of Oklahoma open up.
We also had time to spare this day, so we attempted to drive out to a turf house we found on Google maps. While I do think we found it, I don’t think it was actually open! Have you been there? Let me know in the comments!
