Our second to last Iceland video is out and ready to watch here. We go from the lava tunnel back to Reykjavik, and then to our hotel for the night. We park right in the middle of some of the big touristy places such as Brauð & Co, Valdís, and Reykjavík Ink.
We had a little extra time before the tattoo appointment, so we stopped for ice cream. Valdís offers many unique flavors including licorice and rye bread. I chose the rye bread flavor which was good! I am pretty sure my husband chose a salted caramel or something normal.
We also got to check out some of the art on the buildings nearby. Reykjavik is a wonderful city to walk in (if the weather is nice) because you find art everywhere.
My husband also went to Reykjavik Ink to get a tattoo of Iceland. We had a great experience there, and they have been really fun to work with on coordinating our visit.
We said goodbye to Reykjavik, and we drove to Hotel Viking for the evening. This drive includes some traffic and more roundabouts. The hotel was entertaining. The Viking theme is everywhere in the hotel and outside! The hotel also had a hot tub area and an ample free breakfast buffet.
